Description

BR/Styrene-Butadiene Rubber Sheeting made from Styrene and Butadiene copolymer (the SBR synthesised from raw materials derived from oil). Above half of the synthetic rubber produced in the world is SBR.

CHEMICAL RESISTANCE of SBR

Good resistance to inorganic chemical products, not so to oxidizing acids.
Limited resistance to mineral acids, and unsuitable for organic liquids in general.

PROPERTIES of SBR

It can attain higher abrasion resistance than NR.
Similar to NR, but with better ageing and temperature resistance.
Moderate tearing, ozone and weather resistance.
